greetings, whenever I do a endurance race no matter if im close to levelling up the xp I get only seems to top up my xp to the nxt level instead of carrying into the next one, I'm reluctant to race the 24 hours of le man just for 2000 xp, so am I just imagining this? also can anyone recommend a competitive car for le man 24 but not something that will liquify the opposition

I've had this happen as well, it's very annoying. If your worried about wasting XP just grind the seasonal events until you reach the next level then do the endurance race.

Are you guys saying that if he was 200 XP away from level 39 and did the 24 hour race, he would only get 200 XP, and not the thousands and thousands alotted? If so, I sure learned something today..

Yh thats right. I've had it happen a few times. It says you've leveled up but doesn't show the extra XP on the new level, then when you look at your XP in the home screen it will be Level 39 with nothing after it. I think I had it happen with the Grand Valley 300 miles.

:ouch: That's unfortunate.

You get a heck of a lot more than 2,000 XP for the 24 hours of le man, I didn't actually read the post so I thought I'd make snarky remarks

no, in the other endurances races it takes me to the next level and no further no matter how close I was to leveling, would like to know if this will happen on le man

No, I just finished the Nürburgring 4 hours race and I received over 2 million credits and it carried me well into level 35. I was a quarter or so the way through 34.

Are you sure if you check your profile and put the arrow on the level it doesn't show credits or does it say 0/1 million or whatever. The level up animation always shows you hitting the level and never being over even if you have more credits.

Yes, just because you can't go over 40. If you are a lvl 38 and you need 200xp to go to 39 is another story, and you'll take all the xp a race can give, not only 200xp.

Maybe an intermittent glitch? I have to say, I've never had this happen to me.

Alright, you quote my post and misspell "Le Mans" when I had it correct to begin with, and I was trying to begin a conversation to try and figure out what problem you have. No need to be sore, just let people help you out in the future instead of flaming them 👍. My main point wasn't even the XP problem, I was directing you to a thread with competitive cars, just like you asked, while stating the fact that the 24 Hour race gives more than 2,000 XP.

indeed, I jumped to conclusions and made a foolish retort, sorry, I guess I'm save that thread for the update when it arrives, hope someone can think of a reason for this phenomena ...phenomenon?

No worries, all is well 👍.

I THOUGHT so untill I did a test. Well atleast at B-Spec.
Lets say I am at Suzuka 9 Hours Endurance.
I have 2,000 more expirience to level up, and the race gives 100,000.
Even tho it would show you leveled up ones, and say 102,000/xxx,xxx, when you go out of the race you could see that the B spec level/expirience bar is moved beyond the start of the level.
Hope this helps.
Good luck

The post-race screen if you have levelled up will always show only your bar reaching the end of the level. It will also tell you that you have attained (more than the XP required) of the (XP required to advance) - the remainder is carried over into the next level and if you check your profile in the Community tab you will see, under "A" that you have (XP attained) of the (XP required to advance) for that level.

At the top end - level 38-40 - the amount of XP needed is mind-boggling and even amounts of XP in the hundreds of thousands won't make a noticeable difference to the bar. It's still counted.

Just a minor segue here...Does anyone know why the 24hr Nurburgring A-spec race offers xp when they become uncollectable, and basically useless, upon reaching the level needed(level 40) to do the race in the first place?...No one doing this race will ever collect xp again.
To the OP...I have now gone from level 0 to 40 A-spec twice and have never been denied a carry-over of xp points...
