A Strange Media Player Problem.....

Why is my position indicator blanked out?

Only seems to do it on certain songs

I worked LONG and HARD putting together a collection of 333 clips (some incredibly rare live videos and other rare musical videos). I had some of my favourite songs, and, at the LAST count, 14,363 plays.

Not too long ago, I was transferring John Mellencamp's 1989 CD, "Big Daddy," to the Media Player (as there are a few good songs on the CD). During the transfer, it froze or something, so I shut down Media Player. When I opened it again, not only was everything deleted (all playlists, lyrics, and songs), but I cannot create new ones. My Media Player is officially a write-off.

Now, who's got the strange Media Player problem now?
