A theory i have about Enthusia

I know that this theory may have a hole in it,but i starting to think.
What if we are not playing as ourselfs in the game,and instead,we are playing as that Woman from the intro,which is trying to follow the steps of her's deceased dad,which died on that Red Lancer Evo in the intro?
 
But as it's stated on my theory,the driver we are controlling in the whole game is that Woman from intro,who tries to enter into the professional racing scene to follow his father steps,who died on the Red Lancer Evo.
Also,another noticeable thing is that Old man holding a frame while there's a car racing on the background in the desert.
My theory too is that old man is possibily the ghost of the Woman's father doing what her did before he died,Taking Photos.
And that the racer on the background is the woman
 
I think the old man could represent the game's role as a "car encyclopedia", a snapshot of the vehicles included in the game, as represented by him holding the picture frame around the passing car.
