I would really be interested to know the percentage of each race in the world, maybe just America. White people are a minority too comparativly speaking.

..this thread will probly be closed fairly soon

define white. Many arabs have white skin & i know many with light brown or blond hair and blue eyes. There are also a few east european countries & their people classify themselves as Serbian or whatever - not White.(my high school had a minority "white" population)

how the hell do you clasify white people anyway?

by their white skin or by what "white country" they come from?

I'm askin cuz i'm from Argentina and i live here (US), the point is that i'm white but i'm not.

anybody get that?

Just a brief blip of a thought, would it be African-European? That sounds Kinda odd. OR how about African-Canadian?

I've never quite understood the term "African-American" myself. If a person isn't born in Africa, they're not African, so what's the point? My great great grandparents were born in Europe, I don't call myself "Euro-American", if someone asks me "I'm white" or "I'm American".

There are some people in this country/world that need to get over it.

not to sound like a racist or anything (because truly i am not)
isn't this whole affirmitive action thing kind of a blatant example of unconstitutionalism. Yes i know slavery broke the "every man was created equally" thing in the constitution, but making it easier for african americans to get into colledge is not the solution. It just seems extremely hipocritical to have this law made in a time when most laws were being designed to be completely "P.C." and fair to all races. Instead of making it easier for african americans to get into colledge we should look into fixing the problem at the roots by giving schools populated by minorities special programs and better funding along with better facilities.
just my .02

Thats what is most commonly known as reverse racism, and it often undermines many minority groups because people then see them as having an unfair advantage (which IS sometimes the case) and this just brews more racism. Its a vicious cycle and and an unfortunate one too, and Im sorry if my previous statement offended anyone or anything, I was really pissed of yesterday because of stuff with my now ex-girlfriend :( . 10q
