Lately I have been trying to improve the performance of my Shift experience only to end up with a complete meltdown. After following what I thought were proven setups for the game in the Game play Options, my game responds like a Paranoid Crank Freak. I ran basically the orig. game settings with out breaking help and after I followed the set up at ( http://ps3.gamespy.com/playstation-3/need-for-speed-shift/guide/page_2.html ) It destroyed my very conservative set up and can’t get it back. I tried to restore the orig. setup and it’s not the same.
I don’t know if the setups are for a different wheel then mine. I have a Driving Force Pro GT
And something has changed in the game.

turn up the steering sensitivity for a start 50% is ok but i feel it is not enuf to get a good response.

force feed back up to max as more feed back from the wheels you get the more you know about the behavior of the wheels.

here is my setup if it works for you.

steering dead zone 0%
accelerator dead zone 1%
brake dead zone 1%
clutch dead zone 1%
steering sensitivity 75% to 80%
accelerator sensitivity 70% to 100%<depending on my bravery that day:lol:
brake sensitivity 65%
clutch sensitivity 70% to 100%
speed steering sensitivity 0%
force feed back 10
turning lock 360
