the F40 dancing on the suzuka track was cool. But like the whole video was building you up. I was expecting it to all of a sudden go into this fast paced music and some like high reving sounds of an engine or cars going by.

Great video. I'm not a fan of that particular song, but its pretty good. At first you are going to fallow after the song with HAMSTER song
Spec II ir Version II is out for about 2 weeks or so, and already tributes. This game must be sooo good.

You don't need a tv-card to be able to make movies like this, just hook your PS3 onto your HD-Recorder, record a few replays or one multiple times from different views, copy the video to your computer (via a dvd is an option) convert it to raw avi, start up pinnacle (or premiere, or if your realy want, movie maker) and start editing.

I don't want to react lightly on this vid, it looks great and the maker has some true video editing skills! Thumbs up, hat off!

I like the vid but if y have to make a little comment : i think the music is not very appropriated. It's sounds like a movie trailer.
Maybe it's better with a rock music ou simply with one of the game soundtrack.

Thanks for all the comments folks, I really did have a blast putting it together. As for the music choice and lack of car sounds... it's all part of the "classic" feel I was shooting for. The whole thing was shot with an SD videocamera and pieced together in iMovie, no capture cards or TV cards involved.

And a tip for other GT5 movie-making fans... don't just stick with the TV replay angles. 1:22-1:30 is shot from the bumper-cam replay of a car I parked on the Casino Triangle. I zoomed in a bit and added some manual movement as if I were actually filming at a track. There's huge depth to what can be done, and I love seeing what other fans put together!
