A warning message for the paint?

I'm posting this because I happen to come across some sort of error when trying to paint my car with one of GT6's premade colorschemes (paint already given to you by default). Is anyone or has anyone had this problem before?

That is a very odd one. Although, looking at the paint names, it would appear that they are all the GT6 anniversary edition paints, not the paints that come with the game. So i would try re-downloading the anniversary pack thing if you got it. If you never had the anniversary edition... i really don't know.

Alright. I've redownloaded the DLC for the Anniversary pack, reloaded GT6, but still the same warning message. I'm confused as to why.
 
That is quite the strange one then. Is it happening with any other things in the game? such as cars or racing suits or anything?
 
It's happening with the Anniversary cars and the AV racing suit also, along with the paint schemes.
 
So it is clearly the anniversary edition that has broken. I would suggest customer support, but something tells me PD don't have a very good track record with customer support. You could always try though.
 
I'll try that when I get the chance to. Although I'm not really worried about losing the Anniversary pack, it's still a shame not being able to use them. Thanks for the help. :)

yeah i get that. I bought the anniversary edition, was extremely hyped for my blue huayra, used it 2 times, bought another, yellow huayra, used it way more times, and did the same with just about every other anniversary car. Yeah they were cool, but nothing beats being able to paint your cars!
 
Exactly. I used the AV cars just to get a head start in the career section of GT6, but the paint was the main enjoyment. I actually enjoyed some of the paint schemes.
 
this happened to me with the AE cars one time. for some reason the system not registering your liscences anymore
