DUI driver has 18 Times legal limit

A truck driver in Lithuanian was caught with 18 times the legal alcohol limit, according to the Associated Press. When police first pulled over the driver, they thought their breathalyzer was broken because the reading was so high. A second device confirmed the man had 7.27 grams per liter of alcohol in his blood. The country’s legal limit is 0.4 grams per liter, and medical experts say anything above 3.5 grams is usually deadly. The man should have been “lying dead” a police official said. Instead, he was “of high spirits and grinning” during the whole ordeal. Then man was fined $1,110 and could lose the right to drive for the next three years.

That should have killed him, as that's about 1.4% BAC. I think 0.5% is usually lethal, or at least life-threatening. I guess they just know how to drink in Lithuania :rolleyes:
 
Eighteen TIMES?! Wouldnt that like OVERKILL you?! Ill NEVER get that drunk! Then again I say Ill never drink and as a 12 year old as you all know, I hate the taste of wine, martinis, daquiris, sake, and champagne, all of which Ive had small sips of.

My wife is an ER nurse and they had a guy walk in under his own power with the police with a BAC of something along those lines. His blood had more alcohol in it than some wines.

Yes, it is a bit demented, but they take bets when a drunk comes in before getting shipped to detox. They all pegged him right around the .08 limit, judging by the way he was walking and talking until they tested him.

Hey, don't encourage the young 'uns. Yeah, I know I'm not old enough either, but baby sitting my friends during their drunken stupors is enough to convince me to never drink to get drunk. Won't happen. And if someone ever feels like spiking my Cokes, I'l annihilate them when I wake up.

I'm honestly not trying to be "A-certain-member-known-for-being-a-downer" and at first I focused on the drinking bit rather than the fact he was driving aswell.
 
I don't support DUI. However Lithuania pours to much soul into Eurovision, I say they need more excitement and that level of drunkenness is admirable, he deserves points for style.

OMG that guy is insane. He should be sent to prison, not a fine. 1 Grand is good, he deserves it for endangering other people.
 
Someone related to my town's local basketball team was infamous for DUIs. It was the wife of one of my favorite basketball player of all-time, Arvydas Sabonis. They were Lithuanian. :D:tup:
