The way I look at it, if I am not satisfied with my PS3, because of the lack of vibration, the graphics just don't WOW me or for whatever reason. I'll just sell it and buy a 360 and pocket the change :) , and if there are going to be shortages like when the PS2 was released, I'll sell it and the two games I plan on getting for it for $900-1000 on ebay or by putting an ad in the paper. But to be perfectly honest I am hoping that I am completely blown away with this machine! But it will seriously disturb me if I drop all that cheese on this thing and its no different from a 360( i can do without a blu-ray player). Keep your fingers crossed!!!!

I have to tell you now that the games are looking very similar, so if you want a PS3 game to model reality, you might be disappointed, because that level of detail may be a decade or more off. But keep in mind a couple of things:

These PS3 games are early builds. Much of the work was done on preliminary development kits. And yet some of them look noticeably better than second generation 360 games. On top of that, indications are that the Blu-ray format is being taken advantage of from the start, and the games are absolutely huge. Resistance: Fall of Man is already clocking in at 21 gigabytes of game content, not including audio! And this is a launch title. It will be very difficult to port most of these games to the 360.

Developers are already taking advantage of the multiprocessor architecture of the PS3 in a huge way, making porting of PS3 games even more difficult.

The game library for the PS3 is going to be much more varied. Most of the talented Japanese developers are producing games for it, like Capcom, Konami, Polyphony, Sega, Square Enix and Sony of course. The 360 is being populated with mostly western developers, and some of those games are rather lackluster.

Those are just a few issues to consider.
