AAAHHH cant upload saved game to ps3 help!!

Hey guys biiiiig problem.....decided to sell ps3 so saved the game to memory card and deleted my user name.....changed my mind decided to keep it instead, now tried to upload it back onto ps3 under new user name..it did but when getting into gt5 it says "warning you tried to load another user's save data. You cannot use this save data. overwriting with new save data.click OK". wounded :grumpy: anyway of working round this??
Got all the top cars saved on it now ( hours and hours of gameplay, gutted if this dont work?)
Help!!!
 
No. GT5 save data is locked to the user account that created it.

Your old psn account will still exist, so just create a user on the ps3 with the same name as the old one and link it to your account details.

Oh wait, you can't. Sony PSN is still 'undergoing maintenance'...
 
i did create my old user name, how do i link it to the account? sorry if silly question
 
You'll have to wait until the PSN is back up and running again before you can do it.
