Abandoned motorcycles- We can stop it!

Hey guys, I want to discuss about abandoned motorcycles: Lately, some people abandon bikes and let the bikes have dust, and they are not driven by who have purchased. I don't take it as offending anyone but correcting the behavior of the people. I think that bikes should be restored and never get crushed!

The problem with most of those bikes is that it would cost more than they are worth to get road worthy again.

The inability to get good parts anymore means that they should be used as parts bikes, so that other ones in better condition can get the parts they need.
 
To an extent. Some of those are rather complete and using it as a parts bike would be counter-intuitive.

Some of them yes, they could be restored relatively easily.

Another problem is that it's impossible to tell what the condition of the engine is like without ripping it apart.
You leave a bike to sit for 20 years and it'll rust from the inside out.
