And to think It was only built because of the manufacturer's emissions thing.
If that's supposed to refer to the requirements for manufacturers to hit a certain CO2 rating across their range, then you're way off the mark.
This is a special edition Fiat. It is not a re-badged Fiat a la Aston Martin Cygnet to lower the company's emissions...
I'll have to agree with homeforsummer on this as Aston Martin is now a separate stand-alone company ( not Ford-owned anymore ) and they probably need a car like the Cygnet to lower emissions ( although it would perhaps be percieved less cynical if they created a seperate brand for this, not an Aston Martin badged IQ, although I quite like the IQ ).
Ferrari however is part of Fiat ( Fiat, Alfa, Lancia, Maserati, Ferrari and the whole Chrysler/Dodge range, etc. ) and the whole Ferrari and Maserati range form only a very small fraction of the entire car output of Fiat so they'll probably will meet those emissions quite easily unlike Aston.
Oh and I'll take the regular Abarth-version over this which seems much better value for money and offers perhaps 95% of the experience for, what?, 40% or even less of the price of this Ferrari linked version.
