Ability to compare TOTAL race time for Aspec races between friends

Basicaly the same system used in GT6 Academy demo:
You could compare your licence tests with: world, nation and friendlist.

The only thing is you would compare the TOTAL race times. (best quali time, fastest laps whatever)

This would relive Aspec as it would add some replayability for Aspec races.

I'm thinking there is something good in there, since I like statistics, but I'd suggest rewording clearly, and expand your description. That way, you'll get more votes!

This is definately a great idea, a friend and I use this exclusively when playing GT6, we race each other one the same track, with the same car and settings, then compare the TOTAL race time, to see who was faster.

To implement something like this would be simple, each A-Spec event has a leadership board, just like tracks do for lap times, but instead it records the total race time set. When you race again, if you lap time is superior, it becomes the new record, if not, it goes down the list. Also an extension of this, saving replays should say in the metadata what the total race time is (otherwise you have the pause EXACTLY when the last lap is completed, very difficult).

Yes i like you got my idea, its basicaly the same as it was in GT6 Academy Demo, where we could compare licence times with: World, nation and friends.
