about decals and favourites folders

when I go to my library, decals
I switch to collection, add 10 decals to created favoutites folder
now its showing both in collection and favourites folder
if I delete from collection it still remains in favourites folder
is this ok to do to clear up collection as its getting bigger
or decals become useless?

Good question. I've been wondering about that, since my collection is getting to be pretty cluttered.
 
Been a while since I tried it, but when I deleted a decal from the collection, it was also deleted from the favorites.
 
I always add to favourites then delete from collection to free up space. Never had any issues with it being deleted from the favourites folders!

Appears this only works with downloaded decals, others have made. If it's a decal you have uploaded yourself, deleting it from the main area makes it unusable from the favorites folder. It still displays, but won't let you choose it.

This sucks big time, as I did this with several commonly used decals, and now I'll have reupload them again. :(
