Hello guys!

So folks, when savegame was implemented during endurace... came a bug. It seems that if you enter the cockpit too fast or too slow this bug occurred when you pressed to load the race again... and you lose all your progress in it.

With the new patch, this was fixed?
It only remains for me the two races of 24 hours = /

How does the save actually work? Does it simply ask "Would you like to save your progress?" and you simply click "Yes" and then can load it up again whenever you want or what?

I don't know. I have not used it. I would use, but I heard of the bug and did not race. I wonder if he still remains.

It saves the endurance you do, then you quit the game, then when you play GT5 again it'll continue the race from where you left off.

What happens if you dont continue the race ? im 5 hours in on tsukuba 9 hour endurance i will finish anyway just wondering wether i can still continue.

Apparently, I heard that the bug only occurs if you enter the pit lane like a madman. If you drive in normally, it will be ok.

That is not true. I entered in at 40 mph and saved my race came back and had the bug, I think it had to do with the angle at which your car entered. This happened to me right before the new update so I dont know if its fixed now. But they said they fixed it and fixed how you enter the pits at tsukuba.

Just finished Tsukuba 9 hours few days ago an didn't have any problems.
Once i entered the pitlane too fast and was thrown back to the track before the dialog asking tires and stuff came up, had to drive one more lap on bad tires :scared:

Out of curiosity where did you finish in the race ?

@OP AFAIK the problems reported were only at Tsukuba - not a 24hr track.

I used it at the Ring and Le Sarthe with no problems when the in-race save option was first introduced.

First with about 40 second lead. GT1 following, rest several laps behind.
Changed from sports soft RH's around lap 370 when I realised that GT1 was going to lap me :guilty:. Not wanting to do this one too soon again.

If entering the cockpit triggered the bug, then start the race standing up... just kidding

I believe they fixed it in the 2.02 update and I think the bug happened only on one track. I've been using the feature for the past few days and it works fine.

For the people wondering how it works, when you enter the pit you'll have the option to suspend the race.

edit: I just checked the list of updates that came with 2.02 and this was there:
"An issue was corrected where the car would become stuck in autopilot from the pit lane if a certain condition is met in an endurance race on the Tsukuba Circuit. Also revised the entry route during pit stops and speed judgement."
