As most people is complaining about the lack of endurance events or because they are too short maybe there should be something like:
bronze: 24 minutes length
silver: 2.4 hours length
gold: 12 or 24 hours length
with:
- option to save while entering the pit to continue other day
- reward proportionate to the time of the event
