I have two PS3, the original model with 60GB inoperative by the famous yellow light, but with the optical lens and the hard disk in perfect conditions and another PS3, model Slim 250 GB with the optical lens damaged.

My questions are, can I interchange the lenses? I mean, are they compatible? and can I transform the hard disk in a external hard disk?

Not sure about the lens. But the HD from the 60GB is a standard 2.5" SATA HDD, so you can stick it in a 2.5" enclosure and use it as an external HDD.

Would it not be also possible for you to take replace the bad blu-ray drive with the older but still working drive? The connectors should be the same but I don't know if the drive would fit properly.

Doubt either the Blu-Ray drive or the lens is interchangeable. Even if the BR Drive would swap in, they are fingerprinted to the specific console, which is why DIY drive swaps don't work, even though they should.

First of all thanks for your answers.
I was looking for information, there are 3 lenses and probably they are incompatible.

I swapped my drive DIY style.
I had to swap my 60G BD drive about a year ago. not too difficult but you will definitely want to watch some Youtube videos and read up on the process while you are waiting for the new setup to arrive.
