example, reaching 505pp

is it better to take the said stock car, and do all intake/exhaust on current engine? or is it better to take that available pp, and do say, Engine +2 only, and leave all else stock?

I know I should try to find this out for myself, but I'm too busy driving the same set car and having fun, :)

I'm a fan of upgrading intake, manifolds, etc, but will a sole +2 engine do better than those smaller incremental upgrades?

FYI, I felt almost zero negligible difference, on a recently stock engine, compared to same car with a +1 engine installed.

Intake, manifold and air filter increase torque much more than mods that increase the rev limiter.

It also depends highly on what car you are doing the mods to, because some cars (small turbocharged engines in particular, like those in VWs and Audis) have very small power increases with engine tuning but large ones with manifold/air filter/intake changes.

Although this has nothing to do with performance, it might be worth considering the fact that the engine tuning can not be undone, while air filter etc. can be uninstalled.
Personally I like to be able to go back to the stock settings (especially on cars that are hard to acquire).

👍

always do the mods that increase the rpms first. ie. catalytic, exhaust, ecu, engine stages 1-3.. propably in that order too. :)

if you need to undo the undoable mods, buy/dupe a second version of the car.

Thx all, Will buy 5 more Evoras to conclude my testings :) If you're a fan of 505pp Nurburgring racing, give this car a try, you won't be disappointed. Try it with default suspension first. Small warning, this car is not Ballast friendly, not even 5Kg. 6:53s is my best in this street car, online, just ABS 1.
