I guess everyone heard about the new GT mode where you create a race team, setup, strategy,... and then sit back and watch the race.

Well, I've been thinking: if they have six AI cars at the start of the race and they use the same AI as in GT3 and add car damage, how many cars would there be left after the first corner? :odd:
Francorchamps '98 comes to mind when trying to imagine the race starts.

This could mean three things then:
1 There will be no car damage:(
2 the AI will be very much improved:)
or the new mode will be a total disaster.:yuck:

GT4 will NOT have damage if I'm not mistaken.
"One of the reasons it would be difficult to include damage is that, because Gran Turismo is a real driving simulator, we would have to consider damage to be real. I have done experiments, and a very high percentage - maybe 80 percent - of crashes in Gran Turismo will cause the car to fall into pieces maybe two inches big." - Kazunori Yamauchi
Thanks Neon for inserting that in your sig. ;)

I truly agree with Kazunori Yamauchi (whoever you are :D ) I sometimes make a bad move and crash at about 120MPH straight into a barrier, or maybe even the rocks at Trial Mountain, and if they include damage, I can only imagine how my car would look like.

Kazunori Yamauchi has also said that the AI will be improved as well but there will be no car damage

whats this about a GT mode where you can create a race team?

Its exactly like driessie said. You create a race team, set a race strategy and watch the race

where does it state that?
any web page?

it is true, but it 's only an extra, not a main mode. So don't be afraid and enjoy.
