My brother and I have completed the 24 hour races in one shot taking 3 hour stints. Just gotta be commited to the cause and get it done.

Serious blisters on your thumbs for playing only 4 hours?

LOL I remember the GT2/GT3 days where I would do consecutive Endurance races just because I wanted the money. Never tried the 24/hr in GT4 though... Maybe I should invite some friends over and take down the Nurb and Le Mans. When I get to level 40 that is!

I managed it on GT4 so I guess I'll do on '5. It was tiring and a little boring at times but I had Bob to put in an hour or two when I needed a break!
I can confirm the blister situation, I opted for sticky plasters on my thumbs after the first 5 hours of the 'ring 24h.

The blisters for me were from sliding my thumb across X and [] rather than lifting off as I find it much quicker to go from brake to power and back again.

My friend did the Le Mans 24 hour a few days ago and he did it in 3 days. His his laptop which had been on for an hour was hotter than his PS3 when he finished, and when he did finish he played for another 5 or so hours.

Did the first enduro today. Lap after lap was hypnotizing... But... No 4 hours in a miata for me thanks.

The endurance races are one of the best things about gt! Be nice to have some more, maybe some 12 hr ones too. I've done 2 200k ones and a 4hr roadster one today. Stiff thumbs, having to buy a wheel as I have a bunch of mates coming over to do the 24hr races but we are going to play 2 ps3s at the same time so two 24hr races :p it's gonna be a long night.

I would say music is a must! That and get comfortable, or expect a bad back ;) take breaks for drinks and food. Other than that, enjoy the racing. This is "the real driving simulator" isn't it?

I have done five endurance races so far. He is my trick, first turn the volume of the game off. Second, position another TV right next to the TV your playing GT5 on. That way you can watch TV/movies while during the endurance race. Also, drinking beer during it too helps when you got a few lap lead. I really enjoy doing the endurance races and planning on doing all of them.
