abs brakes

i did a search but couldnt get info i wanted.

ive been using a modded ruf with sport tires in the deep forest race in boxer series of professional series. seems i need to pump brake pedal as if car didnt have abs in order to get decent stopping distances. now that i do this i can out brake all the other cars

is this just b/c of high hp in ruf or is it true of all cars. really shouldnt have to pump pedal or do threshold braking in an abs car. what gives?

The RUF has notoriously bad brakes, that's for sure. If you have equipped it with a brake balance controller you may have overly high values dialed in and the wheels tend to lock, making a chirping sound in the process. Many cars can be set to lock their wheels slightly by using too powerful brakes but using lower values will give you the normal ABS feeling - but at the expense of less braking power.
 
i didnt add the brake balancer. ruf should have excellent brakes in real life, why not in the game too.
 
It may have sufficient brakes for its power, but if you've added power, you WILL need more brake force.
