All right, I've heard that in GT4, you can disable ABS. Now, because I could never see my self getting good feed back from the DS2 controller, I wouldn't be very inclined to disable it. Pedal feel is needed... which brings me to the question.

Does the DFP wheel and pedal set have feed back in the pedals? If so, can you feel how the brakes are working threw the pedal? This would be great it so... but I doubt its the case... but can someone check?

the pedals on the DFP suck, specially the brake pedal, a real car brake gets harder the harder you push it... the brake on the DFP feels allmost the same as the accelerator pedal... so i threw them away.. cost me 400 bucks to "fix" the pedal problem. ^_^

LOL :dopey:

Thats not true at all. The DFP's break pedal does exactly what you said a real cars break pedal does. It gets stiffer toward the end of it's travel. Unfortunately so to the point that the back of the pedal set ends up coming off the ground sometimes. It feels totaly diffrent from the accelerator, and both are well weighted. without being too stiff. they actualy push back at you, unlike most other pedals where the spring is so light you cant feel the pedal beneith your feet when you push it.

As for force feedback in the pedals? Sorry, not yet.

the pedals do not have force feedback
the accelerator is very easy to press down and the brake is not the same feeling as the accelerator, at least mine isnt. It feels somewhat like a real brake pedal. but on a real car you dont "floor" the brake pedal to slow down for a turn like we do in gran turismo.

hey what pedals did u get? im making a racing simulator and i would like to up grade the pedals

The DFP pedals suck, suck REALLY hard. You get used to them though. There are things you can to to add feel to them. The most popular one is adding a hand ball or some such rubber ball under the pedal to give it a more progressive feel. I tried it and it was ok but just ended up with the default pedals.

The brake pedal in the DFP does have an extra spring in it that pushes back when the pedal is pressed. The Throttle doesn't have that, only the spring to control the press down. The one in the brake makes little difference though.

I would like to find a way to use my DF pedals (which were much better) with my DFP wheel.

If you played GT4 Prolouge you have already played an "ABS" free car. When driver aids are off in Prologue ABS is gone too. You learn to brake less and in a straight line, very limited turn in while braking.
