I noticed that when I was driving the Skyline R33, the brakes would lock up much sooner in Race tires than Sports. Or at least, it feels like it. I made a comparison video below, but I'm not quite sure if the "feeling" is translated well into the video though
The cars I've felt this difference so far are the Skylines and RX-7 FC, but that's pretty much because they're the only road cars I've driven thus far without ABS in both Sports and Racing tires. Note that I didn't specify whether they're Hard, Medium, or Soft, because the brakes feel the same as long as they're in the same tire category
The last thing I noticed is when I used Comfort Hards on the Skyline to get the backdrop that I wanted around the end of the video, the brakes become very lenient and I can drive as if I'm on ABS Default. It still locks up, but only at very low speeds
Do try it if you find the time to do so, maybe on different road cars as well.
