To Folk making rooms ok if you want to drive without ABS but dont make everyone drive without it... forcing abs off EXCLUDES those using a pad, i know i can go into a rooom that allows abs or start up my own room(did that and had someone moan abs was on even though i had turned the other aids off.... )

This might seem obvious, but why not only join rooms where ABS isn't disabled? And for those who complain when it is left on in your rooms, you could suggest something similar.

I think it's great that the option is there at all.

Its the host's choice not yours, If you dont like it go make your own room where you can make the rules.

Yes but there is no way of knowing its disabled until you get in the room......

I can drive with the ABS off with a pad.
You don't need special skills, just being able to set a proper brake bias and being careful when braking.

Unfortunately, no.
PD should change the online lobby interface (for example with icons) so that one can tell what is allowed and what is not.
It's so inefficient right now, insignificant things take too much screen space and important info isn't immediately shown.

Nothing arrogant about it. They just want a level playing field. Arrogant would be someone demanding that they should be allowed to run with it when everyone else in the room has agreed not to use it.

there's a huge difference between just hitting the brake at the right moment, and positioning the car so you can hit the brake at the right moment without wiping out.
