Academy GT-R SpecV .....How to trade / gift?

is it even possible?


I live in Germany and have two different PSN Accounts (one registered to the USA because PSN Store got more demos and such).


I usually use my US-Account, so all my efforts in GT5 are linked to that one.


Now I thought I could "win" the SpecV Academy car and trade / lend / sell or gift it to my US Account, but nothing of it works.


Anyone an idea ? I can't even borrow it.

tried to register with my US Account because its a German email adress but its not possible to register.

*frustrated*


thanks for answering and sorry if it already was discussed, forum search didn't bring up any threads that might've been useful to me.
 
ugh ok that sucks......can't even copy my savegame because its connected to my account.

is there any special about that car except for its looks and rareness? Took a test drive with it and it drives just like any other GT-R.

So I can use it, I only have to switch accounts lol
 
If you live in EU, why do you put all your efforts in a US account?:odd: Are you american?
 
no thats just the account I use regularly because of the PSN store, I wasnt aware that there are or are going to be region specific DLCs or else I would've start my GT career with the EU account

oh well, dont want to start all over again because of one car.....still can switch to EU account if I want to race it.

for some reason I think its stupid you cant borrow it to a friend....
 
Yea this "region expecific" content makes me :mad:. EU can have GT-R Academy SPECIAL, US can have Camaro SS "Edge Special"...why can't we all have the same?
 
the bad thing is the Camaro only works with an US copy of the game, I was able to download it, it even shows up in my PS3 game data in the main menu....but doesnt show up in the garage.

or the Facebook Jag....cant use it in classic car challenge, but if you buy it you can use it?

dont want to flame, but Forza got that part better tbh.

but there are enough other cars to try :-P

Damn thats not cool.
For the Jaguar, you win one in Indy 200 miles (a-spec I think) and it can be used on Historic car challenge...

The Facebook one is a Chrome Line Jag though. I got one and can't use it in Historic race so had to trade a car for a standard model.

I think region specific cars is dumb. If we can race with our overseas brothers ( and sisters ) why can't we all share the same cars?
 
I think PD wants to remember us that even in the virtual worlds we can't have the same cars lol

like E36 M3 CSL (aka Lightweight), only for America

Ford Focus RS (not for America)

and so on.......sorry for letting it go OT a little

Ahhhh, but in real life if you want a certain car then it is always possible. Not like virtual GT5 life where you cannot. :(

Oh well. :) There are plenty of great cars in there to race, so not to worry.
