Account Password Recovery...

Please excuse a lame n00b..

I've changed my Mastercard since I first bought the PS3, and tonight, I felt like adding a few bucks to my master account. But silly me of course lost the Password for my account - and it seems, as far as I can tell, that the 2.xx firmware didn't retain the "Forgot your Password" under the Sign in menu - Now you don't even get the chance..

So - How does one go about recovering ones PS3 account PW with the 2.xx firmware..

(Most likely, what did I miss, and where...)
 
I'm not sure (as I don't have a PS3), but I think the account/password combination is the same as at the Playstation Store. If you try to sign in there it will allow you to recover your password.

It's probably still possible to recover the password from the PS3 itself, but just in case they have (accidentally) remove the ability to do that then you can try the above method. :)

Thing is, the PS3 _used_ to have an option of clicking "forgot your password" from the Sign in menu - it no longer has :-(

[edit:] But thanks a million anyway - Worked after a little fiddling... If you change your password at the PS store, the PS3 will say you suck and that your PW is invalid, and THEN show the log in button...

You're the man of the day in my book :-)
