I looked and looked and did not find anything of help on here.I'm trying to find some working hybrids that is for a PS2.I'm sure that I have the older version of Action Replay, year 2002.I have 12 slots left in my garage and I sure would like to put some new cars in there.I have found 2 that worked in the past and I still have them,a Porsche and a Lamborgini. Most of the other codes either freeze up or just don't work at all.I hate that, all that time typing in all those codes and POOF,all that time for nothing. This is the only game I play so it would be nice to have some new cars.Too bad a person could't figure out how to modify the tracks btw.Anyhow thanks for viewing this and if you could help out,I would be very grateful for it.

I guess it all depends on what kind of cars you are looking for, or what codes in general. You have to be careful where you get your codes. There are a number of people who just post random codes with no instructions or explanation, assuming that you will already know what to do with them.
Why don't you post again and let us know what cars you want to have, so we can get an idea. In the mean time I will post something for you to play with.
Buy a mustang cobra svt so it is in the 1st garage slot.
Go ahead and buy and install:
1. Tires of your choice
2. Brake Balance controller
3. Full L.S.D.
4. Stage 3 Weight reduction
5. Port and Polish
6. Engine Balancing
7. Racing Flywheel
8. Twin plate Clutch
9. Shaft
This will save you from putting in a bunch of extra codes.

Then start entering these codes(preferrably 1 at a time to avoid mistakes)

That is a supercharged Shelby Cobra powered Stang, that sounds sweet and runs great.

Uh, in a reference to what you said to me a while back, Try doing the Car Base, Body Collor, and Car Type before you go and do everything else. And then of corse enter the codes in, one at a time.

Car type really won't make a difference in the building of the car. Car Base, Body/Downforce and Color are the 3 important codes to put in first. Then check your garage to see if that worked. After that you should be ok to add whatever codes one at a time without worry about corrupting your save. In this particular case with the Mustang listed above those codes are not necessary.

Just stopped by on my way to work to see if there's any replys. Thanks for the Mustang,I'll do that up this weekend.I once seen some pics of a bad-looking Mini Cooper with extra wide wheels on it.Does anyone know how to make that one there?I always see a Stratos and a Vuxhall but in the past those codes did not work.I'm not that intrested in a high horse power car,due to the fact they are basically useless in a race.Just something that looks good and handles like a dream.Again, thanks for these replys.

Last night the Mustang worked really well. Was kind of surprised by how smooth it ran considering it has close to 1500 HP.I'm happy with it,at least I don't have to tweak the settings on it.The Mini I seen was green with wide tires all the way around it.Don't mean to offend anyone here but,Is the lack of hybrids for the Action Replay this common?I always see someone made this car or that car and why can't the rest of the masses enter the same code and get the same results? Is there that much of a difference between the individual consoles?:D Anyhow, thanks for the codes and the replys.I'm was hoping for more cars that will work.Btw,if someone knows of a site that has hybrids that are for a Action Replay, then I'll owe ya' a steak dinner.

Almost every hybrider that has been doing it for a while uses an older model Gameshark, which is the same device as the Action Replay that you use. Any car you see posted for GS2 or AR2 should work for you. There are unlimited codes for that device. You should really download MK's database program so you can get the codes for yourself.

I downloaded the MK today on your advice and for me it is useless. It has nothing to help me with the AR.I'm sure it will work with the accessories, but I'm not a hard-core gamer so it is not in my arsenal.I just need a site with the AR codes.I have not even found a site with the basics for a beginner. It appears that people assume that other people will just automatically pick up on it.As for me the MK is worhless. Is it possible to make the hybrids with just a AR minus all the extra equipment?I found a couple of cars but thats about it.I have found many conflicting views and I'm about to give up on this again.

Contact me through one of the messengers I use and I will teach you to use MK's. It is a tool that you can use to pull any code that you want from the game. You will need a gamsave on your pc as well as the program. I will attach one to this post.
