Actual car as cockpit?

Has anyone cut up an actual car and used it as a cockpit to keep the dimensions true? I have a 96 Camaro parts car Im considering doing this with if cutting it down to size is feasible.

A couple of episodes ago over on ISR, their featured rig of the week had one.

Its totally feasible. there is a dude on youtube who did this years ago, his video is famous. he cut the front end off some little tiny car and put it in his basement. was quite awesome. I believe he used a projector that covered the entire windscreen.

Yep that's the one from ISR episode, but this is much longer presentation than their Rig of Week feature was.
