Could someone please give me a hand with this thing. I loved the car in a few of the ealier races and decided to tune it out for the JGTC and I'm getting hammered. The Aspec difficulty level only indicated 112ish in all of the races, The settings I've been using work OK on the high speed, low technical courses like Tokyo but some of the more techinal tracks I have really noticed the oversteer and understeer. I've played with the suspension and LSD and just don't think I'm getting it right. It seems to understeer during acceleration and oversteer during deceleration. I'm running all full custom mods and all HP upgrades. I also installed a wing to access downforce adjustments. I would just hate to give up on this car I've dropped so many credits on.

My brother had that car in his game for a while and said it had a lot of understeer. He's really not that good though, especially w/tuning. fiddle with the suspension a little and the car may do better. Good luck with it

PROGRESS UPDATE.

Can't believe no one is trying this car out. It has so much potential. I got it up to 215 in the straight at Tokyo, and mid range acceleration is awesome.

I realized most of the oversteer encountered was because I was pushing the corners too hard. So understeer nearly solved. Maxed out front down force too. The remaining biggest problem is the deceleration oversteer. It feels like the rear tires are breaking loose by simply letting off the accelerator. My driving style prefers a loose rear end cornering but what I'm getting is excessive. I've tried high and low LSD combos, high/low and low/high LSD combos, and no improvement yet.

It is a great car, so all you supertuners won't be wasting your time. I'm a fair tuner, exceptional on some. So give it a whirl.

In what race did you obtain it?!?!? I REALLY REALLY want that car. If I can get my hands on it I can guarantee I'll spend a few hours tuning that puppy. Its what I love doing in the game the most. I have only about 7 cars but all of them are tuned to a T.

You get it from the Honda Type R race. This car rocks. I had started out with a civic type R for the FF, civic, and type-r races. I had no idea I would get this car but I decided to give it a whirl for MR race. Boy was I surprised. It was awesome just stock and there are very few cars that I enjoy driving just stock w/o any adjustments.

I can't wait to tune this car later on.

I did the same. Used it in some of the earlier races stock. I was in the first couple of races of the JGTC at the time I made this thread. During the championship final drive gear is all over the board. I typically would qualify and push to get a good lead and loose it near the end due to tire wear. So in a many of the races I would start from the rear and steadily work throught he pack and chip away at the leader, then keep a close following distance until about half way through the next to the last lap. This conserved my tires. Then I would lay on the push. As much as I hate to admit it I wound up using a touch of ASM, 2 clicks each, 1 TCS.
Have you tried out the Integra-R. I used it in the FF, Clubman, Type-R, among others. My setup drives like its on rails. Tried to supertune it with a Spoon Original Turbo and couldn't control wheel spin. If your interested in the HSC setup let me know.
