I found a way to deal with drifting with this FF vehicle at stock.

Just hold gas and ebrake at the same time as u approac a curve (youll still be accelerating but at a slower rate, practice and youll find the right speed) then just enter the turn like a nose dive and your back will swing out, then keep holding and counter-steer or steer while drifing! it kinda reminds me of playing auto modellista.

Id post a vid of me doing it but i dont have anywhere to upload it

Ah, FF drifting. Fun stuff.
Try these settings out:
Honda Integra Type R '98 spec (J)
HP: everything you can get.
________________F_________R
Spring rate _____5__________12
ride hight______89_________104 (I couldn't figure out what kind of difference it made, so I just did this)
Shock bound___10__________5
-rebound_______5__________1
camber_________2_________1
toe___________2__________-2
stabilizers______1__________7
gear: auto #27 (doesn't matter)
ASM: 0
TCS: 4 (otherwise I'd be bouncing off the rev limiter too much)
Tires:
F: T3 racing slick
R: T0 simulation

You won't even need the handbrake if you flick it into the corner right.

well ill give it a go in a few, i got a little over 500000 to spend so im sure i can handle it, right now im busy trying to complete amuture mode (without overkilling it with my f1 car =p)

another quick note

ive never before tried a sim tire... whats the big difference between it and the sports tire? they are normally the same price.

i tried the setup u gave me, and honestly i cant drift... i cant keep it sideways and accel thru it like i can with my setup.. or tactic

Pleae use the edit function, as excessive multiple posting in a row is generally frowned upon.

Thanks,

Der Alta

Proper corner entry will get you into a slide, but if you want to hold it for a long time or get a bigger angle you do need use the handbrake.
Sim tires are supposed to be the most realistic tire. In this case 'realistic' just means less grip, which is what you need if you want to get the back end out in a fwd car.

ah ok thnk u, sorry for the dble post too.
i found it easier to drift with my settings, with yours and using my tech, i just cant control the damn thing, practice makes perfect though

Yeah, you should see the AI try to handle that freak
Obviously we've got different driving styles, maybe check out some tuning guides and see if you can make it more to your liking.
