Alex Zanardi is a racing driver , bycicle racer (gold in the paralympic games 2012) and tv conductor , born in Bologna - Italy , Zanardi started racing in karts then he passed in the Italian F3 in the 1988 . In 1991 he raced in Formula 3000 and in F1 (Jordan -last 3 races) . In 1992 he did the first race with a Tyrrell , then he passed at the Benetton as a test driver and at the Minardi for compete in the last half of the season . In 1993 & 1994 , he raced in the Team Lotus . In 1995 Zanardi passed at the Formula CART , where he wons the 1997 and 1998 championships . In 1999 he returned in F1 , driving a Williams , but in 2000 Zanardi left the F1 . He will return racing in 2001 , in Formula CART again . At the Lausitzring Circuit (Germany) , Zanardi was victim of a crash ..... both the legs were amputated . He returned racing in 2005 in the WTCC and in the Campionato Italiano SuperTurismo (SuperTouring Italian Champ.)

Build only for the American market , the Acura NSX Zanardi Edition is a car made for celebrate the 1997/1998 victory of Zanardi in the CART championship . Only 51 cars were build and was available only one color (New Formula Red)

Definitely a +1 here. I quite like NSX's anyway, and the fact this car is actually linked to an inspirational driver and athlete (not to mention, awfully nice bloke), is definitely a big plus.
