The company didn’t say much about the concept, but billed it as an “electrifying design study with thrilling performance proportions” that “explores the future evolution of Precision Crafted Performance design language as the performance brand transitions to a zero-emissions future.”
Acura’s executive creative director, Dave Marek, said “This latest expression of an all-electric high-performance model is inspiring everyone in our studio to push the boundaries and we wanted to share the fun with our Acura fans.” It remains to be seen if this is anything more than a flight of fancy, but Honda teased two electric sports cars last year when they announced plans to launch 30 EVs globally by 2030. At the time, the company said one was a “specialty” vehicle while the other was a “flagship” model.
