Adding AI opponents to an online race

It would be great to have the option, like in Forza or many Simbin games on pc, to add AI opponents to the online events (any) with the possibility of choosing the AI skills, individually for each opponent or at least a generic slider for them all (like 60% to 110%)
This way it could be possible to play with a few trusted friends (even just one) and still having an interesting race.

This would be great... if only Polyphony wasn't so pre-occupied with stupid **** like simulating the stars.

that's right. When I found out that this feature still wasn't there, but they made a simulation of the moon surface, I was rather disappointed.... I mean, that's the proof that they had time but totally didn't plan it
