Adding cars to "Favorties" for LAN parties?

Like the title says -- How do you add cars to the "Favorties" for LAN parties? As a matter of fact, how come we can't pick our cars from our memory cards?

We tried last night but we couldn't pick any of our garage cars...seems like you're stuck to the S-Class cars only.

Correct, no garage cars in LAN mode! To pick your favourites, enter a free race in arcade mode. After selecting a random track, you're being presented all available cars. Click your way to the car you like, then press "up" on your controller. The game will ask you if you want to add the car to your favourites. Do this with up to 30 cars, then leave the free race mode and enter LAN.

I recommend to do this together with all your buddies, cause you won't have the same cars in the same order if you don't do the same at the same time. You can still enter races, but with different cars it can get a little boring.

You would have found this info in the "LAN how to" threads as well by the way, there actually was no need to open a new thread for this.
