Adding Decals to 2017 Ford GT Buttresses

On the buttresses of the 2017 Ford GT, I'll add a decal yet the same decal will show on the body of the car under the buttress. I've messed with angle and depth of the 2nd-gen GT. I've seen liveries that show that people have gotten around the issue, so I was wondering if you guys can help me.

Sorted? No. Unless you mean something else. I've tried placing the decal on whack angles hopefully to avoid the body of the car.

Try changing the angle of the camera first to see if that prevents it projecting beyond the first layer and on the the second.
Hopefully that works

I've tried that. I've made it where it would only project on the pillar of the Buttress and it still caused the same issue, though not to the extent as me doing it "normally". Not only that, it was next to impossible to manipulate the length or width. Thank you for the help though.

I'm having the same problem with the spoiler. Imagine it won't work since the spoiler is active.
