Adding GTP to your PSN ID

Hi everyone, first post here so I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong place. I've been looking at these forums for quite a while and finally decided to make an account, and I wanted to ask if there's some sort of process I should go through before I make a make a GTP_ PSN ID. Again, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

AFAIK, You don't need to make a separate PSN ID with the GTP tag on it anymore to compete for WRS.

All right, thanks for your reply! I just wanted to check whether I have to sort of "qualify" in some way to use a GTP_ account on PSN - I know I could just make one anyway, but I've played loads of GT5/6 on my normal account and would like to make a new account with the GTP_ tag, just because I like to drive cleanly and I believe most GTPers do, and the community on here seems pretty good too.

So do I need to be part of any sort of registry and/or qualify in any way for a GTP_ account to be considered "legit"?

No, I don't think there are any rules on having a GTP_tag. You're a GTP user, that should be enough to be "legit".
