Additional Auto-Club forums?

A while back I suggested converting the auto-club threads into forums. Adding one every few months or so. I think MAZKid has done a good job with his forum and I was wondering if you were planning on adding more?

Just curious.
 
No, there are no plans to add new forums for any clubs. I've not even been contacted by anyone asking for a forum of their own.

We also need a Moderator that actually visits the GTA Forum. Too often there are threads that are either pointless, or have already been made and are active. We then try to let it die, and people decide to bring them back up again. It hasn't really happened often lately, but I guarantee you, once San Andreas comes out, there will be alot of pointless threads, or threads made posing questions that can be answered in multiple other threads. I just think we need a proper Moderator for that Forum.
 
Well there used to be a thread for each of all kinds of different groups. I thought surely they'd want their own forum and if there was a big enough demand Jordan might accomodate. But apparently Mazda and Nissan are the only two which anyone care about. The "VTEC" guys could probably go for a Honda forum, but if they're not bringing it up it's probably not worth it.
 
The subforums are weak. Everytime I post something in the Mazda forum, I have a feeling that MazKid is the only one who reads it. The Nissan Perf. Zone is'nt so bad, but still, why cant we just discuss each new model/question in it's own thread? It's not like Honda or Chevy or Ford is doing so much stuff that we could fill up a whole subforum with stuff about them.

I nominate Famine for the GTA forums moderator. He's the only one there who I can trust not to become power-hungry.
 
Well he did make his Custom User Title (well his Avatar anyway) as the Super Moderator title. He's power hungry. :lol: Just kidding.

The Nissan Performance Zone is dead to me. I asked a question in there a while back, and it took them like 2 weeks to respond. By that time, no other replies had been made in that Forum. I think this whole idea of more Car-Specific Sub-Forums is just stupid. It would be worse than the other two.
 
I think the moderators are doing a fine job. There really isn't a need for any more.
 
The NPZ isn't really that dead. I always check in there every time i come to GTP as do a few others. :cool:
 
Yeah, the NPZ is coming back a little. It was dead when I was in there frequently. Now I don't have time for it.

Also, the GTA Moderator issue has been (somewhat) resolved. Case closed.
