Does anyone know if there might be a possibility of upgrading GT3 in the future. I know that the producers said that it took a lot longer to digitize these cars, and the results show, but do you think an upgrade disk might ever be released? It would use the engine from the original disk, but maybe have some additional cars, tracks, and races.... Maybe it could be the advanced disk, with HARDER races (not just longer ones....)

Somehow I doubt it.

enev if they COULD, they wouldnt. They will make you buy a new one.
If there is a network adapter, they may allow you to download new cars on to a hard drive or something, but I doubt it.

No, I don't mean upgrade, I mean like a second CD that would have additional cars and tracks on it. But the actual game engine would still remain on the original disk. You would need both to play the game....
 
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that I have read somewhere that you will need GT3 to play GT Concept - So I guess that answers your question...

And if that is true, maybe the will be more add-ons in the next couple of years...

GT Musclecar - now THAT would be cool.....

I'm not too sure but arent you are talking about GT Concept? I was under the impression that GT Concept had different cars but you still raced the GT3 courses. Who knows, I've picked bits and pieces up from here and there, ya never know what you get from the vine.

You know they might just keep it GT3. Think, if they have the technology to just simply uprade, why then waste time and money building an entire new data base. Why not just come out with upgrades, every say year in a half? Sounds to me that that's what theyre doing. with GT Concept.

Think of all the possible income from that. Instead of just coming out with something outstandinginly invincible, thus GT4; they release discs to upgrade GT3 into GT4. Wow. Then charge tonz of cash for each upgrade. Make the upgrades only compatible to the system if the upgrade below it was loaded onto the system. ( ie. the third upgrade would work only if the second was already loaded. ) Just like expansion packs for P.C. games.

If i was a multi million dollar wizard that's what i'd do. 😈 hehe. I'd make shabloads of money. But no matter what the game would always be GT3. Considering Dante's reasoning that three is the means of the universe.

I doubt that they will upgrade 3. Wouldnt you rather have gt4 than another 3. More cars, more tracks, and more intelligence (AI). I know thats what im lookin for in gt4!
