-Each wheel model could function similarly to the automakers, in that each model has a flavor text that outlines its history and use, and after picking it, you can select the color if a wheel has multiple colors. Perhaps there'd be a similar "Brand Central" for these accessories that'd only be accessed from GT Auto, specifically when selecting a wheel for a car you're currently using.

-When picking a wheel to use with a car, you could be shown some suggested, highlighted models that will be at the forefront of the broader wheel listing, and would gel the best with your car. So when picking a wheel for a Gr.3 car, all the centerlock wheels will be highlighted, but you won't necessarily be forced to use them if you don't want to. Another example would be that the Rays TE37V and Work Equip wheels would be highlighted for classic JDM cars, and the American Racing AR104 and KMC models would be highlighted for trucks/SUVs. If a car has a very specific sort of wheel, but you're still able to customize the wheel, then no wheels will be highlighted.

-As for the special colors, the more "general" color picker could be used, (vs. the one where you select hue, saturation, & volume) and then you could select one of those options (e.g. half-matte, aluminum metallic, colorshift, etc.) in addition to gloss/metallic/pearl. IMO it'd clean the menu up a lot, and the "special colors" tab would be replaced with "Real Car Paints”, with each special color option being replaced with the ability to sort by automaker. You would be able to access all colors of a car upon purchasing that model, instead of needing to buy it multiple times. There could even be a way to see the OEM colors by model.

-For number stickers, I'd also have the option to potentially remove some of the current number sticker designs while replacing some with more specialized stickers where you can customize the number, yet they'd resemble some real-world number sticker designs more closely. For example, there could be the reflective property of the LMP1 stickers, the digitized stickers one may see on newer GT3 cars, the ones you'd see in the front window like in DTM, or the JGTC/Super GT stickers that have that bright orange stripe on top. There could also be ones based on rally number stickers. You could also have the option of leaving the number sticker blank so that it'd be populated in an online race. For Sport Mode, it'd be your DR ranking like it is already, and in lobbies, it'd be the number for the order a player had joined an event.

-I'd also allow the customization of stuff like leader light colors, and other lighting that are used by endurance race cars for identification, especially looking at many GTE cars like the Ferrari 488 and Ford GT LM. You could also change how your car looks by removing its additional light covers, much like one would see with many GT3/GTE cars.

-I'd also add a skin system where you can use official, pre-made liveries, such as those seen in the FIAGTCs, or by the AI in GT League, rather than rely on the community to recreate them. There could also be liveries based on original livery designs from prior GT games. Similarly, there could be unlockable suits/helms that have pre-made liveries, such as the Senna items from GT6.
