Adjusting G29 paddles?

My old G29 crapped out so I bought a new one with a 4 year warranty. Just tried the new one and the left paddle
wont downshift quickly like the old G29 and G27 did. It seems like I have to let the paddle move farther out before
I drop another gear making me miss downshifts, and when I do get it right its way to slow. Its really messing up.
The right side shifts normally but I don't need to up shift as quickly.

So my question is...Can this be adjusted, or should I exchange it and hope the next one works the way its supposed to?
I'm losing faith with Logitech.

I tried searching this here and You-Tube and nothing came up.

Thanks for any help

I recommend exchanging the wheel, since it is under warrantee. You can also try blowing some compressed air. Maybe there is some lint or dirt caught in there. Don't lose faith because of a lemon... All companies (Thrustmaster, Fanatec etc.) have issues sooner or later. But generally Logitech has the best reputation of all consumer wheels.

@gapper59 I used to have that with my g25. It is due to the fact that the return capacity of the spring plate is minimal. I fixed that by modding it with compressing springs.

I'll try to find / make a photo.

Works like a charm.

Bit late, but here’s the idea
