Adobe Photoshop 7.0

Alright, if Mods lock this, it's okay, I just need one question because I don't know who uses what and etc. Who ever has Adobe Photoshop 7.0 , how do you unlock layers?? I have a layer locked and can't do any work to it...Please reply...

Right click on the Backround Layer in the Layers box and then click on Duplicate Layer. Or you can drag the locked layer to the little Create a New Layer icon next to the trash can at the bottom of the Layers box.

Delete the locked layer after you make a new one.

Hmm. I usually just duplicate the locked layer, so that it creates a new layer exactly the same, then edit that.

My guess is, you are still trying to edit the locked layer after making a duplicate..

No, it worked after a couple tries...My computer wasn't acting correctly until I shut it off for a couple minutes...
