anyone ever heard of adult swim? its a cartoon lineup on Cartoon Network @ 10pm on sundays.

it has cartoons with jokes more oriented toward older people. i think its hilarious. especially Space Ghost and Sealab 2021.

anyone else heard of this?
 
Adult Swim on Sundays is pure crap. Rejected shows from TV networks converge on to one place. Adult Swim Action, on Saturdays, is where Cartoon Network is trying to break away from silly Looney Toons and cartoons for the attention deficit. Adult Swim only exists because of the high popularity of Anime in the US. Cartoon Network increased ratings by 300% in the age group of 18-34 because of Adult Swim on Saturdays. No mention of Adult Swim on Sundays...

i dislike adult swim action (saturday), because i dont like a lot of the animes. i especially hate the yuyu one...all it has is a bunch of closeups of peoples faces and they are always sweating.

there is one huge exception, and that is cowboy bebop. this is the best anime ive ever seen.

i guess ive really never given ASA a chance. what are the good animes on ASA? maybe ill give them a shot.

I dislike that Yu Yu... whatever one too. The best anime on right now is Cowboy Bebop for obvious reasons. I like Gundam 0083, the best Gundam series so far. Then there is Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo!, and Pilot Candidate (Candidate for Goddess).
 
i dont think i like gundam (is it those huge robot things that fly and shoot rockets?).

whats outlaw star about, ive heard its ok.
 
lol, Gundam is more then big flying robots that shoot rockets, but that's ok. :)

Outlaw Star is sorta like Cowboy Bebop, but taken less seriously. It's about two outlaws named Gene and Jim who take out bounty heads for money. They end up finding a prototype spaceship (and a girl) that can find the mysterious space legend of the Leyline and they're not the only ones who want to find the Leyline either...

Check it out, it's pretty tight.

I like the episodes Lost in Time, Predator, and Happy Cakes.
Well, here's the answer to your question, I LOVE ADULT SWIM. Definetly one of the best shows on TV.
 
sealab is hilarious. they are incredible at making pauses hilarious.
the only show i dont like is baby blues. yuck.

space ghost is king. hey fermy, u ever see the one where they ripped on bjork?

hey, what's that Sealab episode called where they pretend that they are the Knights of Mars and go around bashing people with their baseball bats, and in the end it turns out they did it all for Quinn's surprise b-day party. I wanna know so i can download it.

oh man. i forgot about this one! captain murphy puts the whole ship under "martian law". heh.

i think its der dieb...but im not sure.
 
I really feel bad for u. The only chance u get to see some anime is on Saturday nights. U are missing, pretty much ALL OF IT. U may get the newest anime series right now being broadcasted in Japan like in 10 years right there on America.

Not counting that some of the DBZ scenes are cut, b/c of violence or sensuality. A cartoon I loved: Saint Seya.


I used to see a channel which was devoted completely to anime, and cartoons. Productions from the Pros and Amateurs were shown. I remember the name was "Locomotion"
