Advantages of owning GT5P before GT5

I wasn't intending on buying GT5P mainly because of the idea that its going to obsolete within a couple months. But I impulsed and now just curious are there any advantages of buying GT5P that may transfer towards the full GT5 game?
 
Yep, for me the biggest advantage is the ability to play GT on the PS3 now instead of waiting for another year or longer!!!!

Need I say more.
 
Getting used to professional handing model before the full game comes out?
 
chances are that any one who say complete GT5p will get money carried over or certain tests done for them in the full game, normally what has happened in the past. o yea and getting practice in is also a plus point
