Is it just me or is this game advertised NOWHERE (at least in the UK)

Other than ads dotted about the GTP website and shopto.net I have seen GT5 NOWHERE (My local GAME had a black and white printout of the boxart with "GT5, released 24th November" written on it in the front window...beside MASSIVE Black ops points of sale)

I've seen no TV ads, no ads in any magazines (there have been articles in PSM etc about ...)

what I'm getting at is, I wouldnt be surprised if a large amount of people who would be excited to hear the game is coming out, but havent been following GTP and the PS3 mags etc are even aware its releasing? People who havent held the pre-order for 3 years like most of us.. If they saw a TV advert about the game then they may get themselves to a shop on Wed to pick it up, but without the TV ads then they may end up coming accross the game during the weekly shop weeks in the future. All because Sony hasnt advertised this at all.

Theyre advertising the crap out of the PS move, which I imagine wont sell as well as GT5, so why not give GT5 some love?

Maybe they'll start after launch day or into December.

I seen some Move ads yesterday but nothing for GT5.

Im in the UK as well I haven't seen any advertising. Although black ops and assassin's creed brotherhood only got last minute advertising. Seems that they try to let the hype work it's magic, can't see that happening with gt5 though.

I'm in the UK too and agree with you. I think its probably because of the delays and Sony/PD's uncertainty of exactly when it will be coming out. Advertising, (TV, mags etc) have to be pre-booked and as we are in the run up to Christmas I think it might be a problem finding available slots.

I'm hoping that there may be something from Monday onwards. Will be watching the Gadget Show on Monday evening. That's probably the most likely program to feature the first TV ads if there are going to be any.,

Here in Australia I've seen at least 3 bus terminal ads as well as some TV advertising for GT5 incorporated into ads for other Sony products. Compare that to other big-name games like Halo Reach and StarCraft 2 which didn't have any advertising here, I think GT5 is doing pretty good.
