Advice with Ebay

Im from the UK and have a shoe size 13 (so 14 in the US) Ive been looking at ebay.com rather than .co.uk and found loads more trainers to pick from.
My question is how do I go about buying something from .com, is it exactly the same as .co.uk apart from the shipping costs ??

Has anyone else UK bought from .com and had stuff shipped over - what should I be careful of, if anything?

I've bought tons of stuff, mostly RC related, overseas, and as long as you shop with someone with 99%+ positive feedback, there's nothing to worry about...

Cool - Well Ive checked the feedback and its good. Ive asked a question but I dont know if they'll be there with it being Saturday ??
