I currently own a 1987 Chevrolet Nova, In reality an AE82 Sprinter with a Bow Tie, and the first car in the line of Geo/Chevy Prism and Pontiac Vibe. I also own a 1/24th scale model of Takumi Fujiwarra's AE86 Trueno...
Now, I took a look at both car's front ends, and I saw some interesting things. The distance from the leading edge of the door and the fender is about the same, as is the slope of the hood. I also noticed that the dashboard is exactly the same, save for the Trueno's being backwards to the Nova's. which got me wondering, could one interchange AE82 and AE86 body panels? say, to create an AE82 Trueno (XP) or an AE86 Nova?

there's a pic of the latter concept.
the actual AE82 Nova, though not mine.
