they are tossable, thats for sure. they arent a real consideration for any less than the hardcore though as they are impossible to find in the states, and if you do find one, it would have been a commuter for the past 15 years and would need an expensive restore job.
 
Probably, unless someone is keeping a whole garage of them especially for these people...
 
Not necessarily. Mine is no show car, but as a daily driver it gets the job done just fine, and it's unrestored. Looks decent too, for the most part it's in good shape. It took me a week to find it.

My friend just found one a couple weeks ago in the local paper, owned by an old lady since new. The car looks, drives, and runs like it's brand new. This car won't need any restoration work for quite some time.

But of course. :) I believe the SR5 (carbureted) is known as the AE85.

No deal Lafora. ;) I like hardtops! More headroom for me and my helmet. :D
