Aero parts needed for front downforce adjustment?

As title. Stupidly, I assumed that getting a wing and a 'front' part from GT Auto would let me adjust front and back downforce. I seem to be wrong. Am I missing something? Do I need all of the parts?

Thanks.

Why would a rear wing allow changing of front downforce?

Front downforce is determined by splitters and canards/diveplanes.

Buying the rear wing lets you adjust rear downforce. So far I've not see any front/side/extension aero parts that allows you to adjust the front downforce. Only in my F430 Scuderia where the aero kit would give the front downforce a fixed value of 15.

Also to answer the above question: In GT4, buying a rear wing allowed the adjustment of front downforce. It was probably assumed that it would be the same in GT5.

My mistake. In that case, buy everything and see what works, or try racing modification (though it seems only a small number of cars can get this).

Race Mod gets you adjustable front downforce for the cars that are able to be modded. Normal cars just get rear wings and adjustable rear downforce. And Race car will have both as default.
