after update cant login to PSN

I started the game this morning (just now) it said there was a update so I let it update. after it updated the game restarted then gave me a "connection to the server cannot be established" error. now I cant log into PSN either. so it is most likely the whole PSN network, but is anyone else having this issue connecting after getting what ever that small update was.
 
ahh just logged onto the PSN webpage to check there and it is down for scheduled maintenance whew thought I screwed it up with that update lol
