Again a victim of the cheating AI!

I decided to race the GT series on Amateur with the CLk touring car that I won on Silver Arrows. I used it stock. I bought a stage turbo I and put it on the back just for emergency. I didnt need it. The competition was fierce but I managed to get all golds on 9 of the 10 races. Then the 10th was when everything came apart. It was on Grand Valley Speedway. Knowing this was the last, I went and qualified 1st with 1'47. I used medium tires. Then on the actual race, the viper got the lead, as usual, i drive without assists. The Viper was on the lead for the first lap, then there was I in second , after me, a Toyota Denso Supra and a Honda NSX Raybrig fighting for the third place. At the second lap I passed the Viper. The Viper went and pitted at the fourth lap. I didnt need to pit. I was on the lead. On the last lap that was the time when the cheating began. After just a fraction of the total time, the Viper regained the lead, with just fresh tires from pitting I looked at the map and I was shocked at how fast the Viper went. My time lead was getting shorter on every turn, taking them at 80 mph. The viper passed me on the third turn. Lame. This is not all. I decided to do what the Viper did. Pit on the fourth lap. I did it. I was ahead on the pit lane. I got out first. The two last remaining laps I continued being in front of him. But proving how gay the AI on GT3 is, I couldnt pass the rest of the cars. Mainly JGTC cars. I even tried the Stage I turbo that I had. Same thing. Practically I didnt have other option but quit the race, hence I am trying for the perfect 100%.
 
I did the same thing you did with the touring car, and I noticed the Viper would really catch up but some how I managed to hold them off. I always thought it was not fair that they could close the gap that fast, when my lap times were right where they had been through the whole race and was winning with those times.

i have no doubt about a viper's capability to make up time.
it's how well they handle, that i don't get.
how can i fishtail with fresh medium slicks in a supra @ 80mph, and there goes that viper @ 120....
 
well the vipers are some of the best cars in the game having 450 horsepower (i think) when u buy it. combining amazing speed with awosome handling for only 78,ooo$ why not just buy one
 
Whats the use in playing a game if its not a little challenging.
I never really pay attention to the car behind me unless I start to hear its engine coming from behind.
Ive never really paid attention to what your saying so Ill be on the lookout for this.
Has anyyone thought that it may be your tires that are going bad for the ai to catch up?? With failing tires, your lap times slow as the ai doesnt.
Maybe this is the case and no one has looked at it this way. Something to think about.

Yea but dont u guys think the ai players tires should wear out just as fast as ours do? cuz it seems like they dont and they run perfect laps every time.
 
What's the name of that green/orange mazda 787B? or somthing like that.

I raced that car in the profesional leage at Grand Valley Raceway and it NEVER pitted for 15 laps.
 
Use the Super slick tires to win the race, you wont have to pit.

I know how you feel. I've posted a few threads about this, and even have replays to show the cheating. I nearly quit the game completely after I found out how extensively the AI cheats.

Do a search for "Definitive proof" and you shuold find an interesting thread.

Yes, The Viper cheated. I've heard the rumor that the car gets "Lightened" as well as an HP boost. Sukcs, but it was the only way PD could make the Rally challenging.

On a more positive note, as you get higher in the game the AI cheats considerably less.

does this cheating occur in the vitz pro league, cause i am maxed on hp and all other ups, and perfect ride height etc.... and still they are as fast, and faster than me?!!?
 
I know what you mean. I cant compete against them either on the Vitz challenge in the Professional mode.
Its really tough and you better be a great driver to beat that series. Ive heard its one of the hardes to beat. :(

I don't cheat I think i'll star cheating when I finish the game and start over.....

That challenge done ma nut in especially R11 you've gotta be good at tweaking your car and be a solid driver to beat that one

the first three races are not as bad but when you reach R11 it's a different story



I left that one to the last partly because i was'nt up for racing in crappy cars :lol:
